My Top 4 WordPress Plugins

If you are just starting out your blog or even just looking for more plugins to step up your blogging game then you have come to the right place. I know when I first started blogging the thought of adding WordPress plugins were terrifying for me but its really not that bad. The four WordPress plugins that I have  listed below have helped me so much with my blog. Let me know what your favorite WordPress plugins are below so I can check them out.

Google Analytics: This WordPress plugin gives you the lowdown on all your page views, what pages are popular on your blog, and your bounce rate. Basically all your blog numbers that we all need to know and pay attention to. All you have to do is set up a account through Gmail and add your special code and you are all set. Super easy and it is always seen through your homepage.

Yoast SEO: It took me months to even figure out that I should be using SEO whenever I write a post and you should too. My first post with SEO was this review on Ouai Shampoo. It was my first big post to come across Google. What SEO does is put you in a number in the search pages, so when you write a blog post your chances of someone finding you are higher than someone who does not use SEO.

Disqus Comments: This one I struggle with activating on and off, mainly because you have to have a account for you to use it. I find that non bloggers who find your page are not willing to create a account with Disqus just to leave you a comment. But the great thing about Disqus is that you don’t get spam comments from bots. So if you are not worried about spam comments then I would definitely recommend this for your blog. Plus it just looks cleaner than the regular commenting boxes.

ShopCollective: I wish I would have known about this when I started my blog. What Collectively does is give you a affiliate link to clothing or any product listed on their website and then puts it into a slider that you can add onto your post. This plugin is great for any fashion or lifestyle blogger. You also get a percentage on clicks and when someone buys from your links. It is a nice way to earn a little bit of money form blogging. The great thing about this site is you don’t need a lot of followers to be accepted like Reward Style, so it is great to use while you are building your brand/blog.
