Trying to build your brand nowadays isn’t as easy as it seems. You can’t just get away with posting whatever now. I never really took Instagram that serious when I first started blogging cause I thought my blog would speak for itself, WRONG. You have to take the pictures, find good lighting, get a photographer for certain posts, and even after that comes the editing. Also can we just stop with the whole “Instagram makes me sad” because the truth is, its all fake. We only show the fun things in our lives so if you jump into Instagram knowing that then you’ll have a lot of fun with it. I wanted to compile a list of my favorite Instagram apps that will have your Instagram looking aesthetically pleasing. But before you do, make sure to follow me on Instagram.
VSCO: This Instagram app. is known to everyone but there’s a good reason for it. Your feed is basically on the app. and you can crop to the perfect insta square if you need to plus the best filters you can find on here. Quick tip, using the copy edits button saves you a lot of time on your new pics. Simply tap the old picture, tap copy edits, and tap on the new picture and tap paste edits and your premade filter is added to the new photo.
Afterlight: This app is all filters, I don’t really mess with them but they have some good ones. I use this app. to get my squares on my feed, mine are set at 23 if you were wondering.
Facetune 1 & 2: These two apps are literally a game changer! I whiten my photos on Facetune 1 and do little tweaks with Facetune 2. These apps are really great at getting rid of blemishes and smoothing the skin also.
Retouch: I used to use Facetune to take out things in the back of photos but after discovering Retouch it has been so much easier. All you do is color over the things you want to take it in the background and tap the GO button and it erases it for you. If you have background lines you want to get rid of also, the line eraser is helpful and is great at detecting them too.
Snapseed: This one I rarely use but it is very helpful in making my Instagram photos very clean and white. If Facetune doesn’t whiten my photos to how I want them I will take them in this app and whiten it. All I use is the selective tool and tap on the places I want to brighten up and that is pretty much it. There are other things but I have yet to try them out.
Those are the only Instagram apps. I use for making my feed aesthetically pleasing. Remember you can follow me here, I’d love to see your feeds also. Leave your Instagram’s in the comments below and I will check them out. Leave me some of your favorite Instagram apps also. Remember don’t take Instagram seriously, grow organically, and just have fun with it.
